Mills County, Iowa

Mills County is located in Southwest Iowa, along the Nishnabotna River. It was named for Frederick Mills of Burlington, Iowa who was killed during the Mexican American War.
The seat and largest city are both Glenwood. It borders Pottawattamie, Montgomery and Fremont counties in Iowa, as well as Cass and Sarpy Counties in Nebraska.
Main highways include I-29, US-34, US-59, US-275 and IA-370.
